I was so happy from receiving the surprise kiriban that I decided I have to offer a kiriban myself. I opened it to a few winners. The first is HotRod5 who requested his character, La Femme Punisher. It’s also his birthday. Happy Birthday HotRod5!
Debido-san got the kiriban from JTGraffix, and surprised me with this. It’s Gem! When Debido-san gave me the link, my first question was, “How did you know?!” and the second question that came to my head was, “Why would JTGraffix be drawing Gem?!” I am so slow. Thanks to both Debs and JT for this awesome version of Gem!

“She’s a high-level dark magician but not quite in the most powerful circuit. She’s also a bit nuts. She’s looking for the thing that will get her over the hurdle and make her one of the most powerful magic casters in the world. Loreane is walking around with an interesting mix of magical artifacts and becomes a target.”
And the idea for this picture formed itself.
This was initially a b&w shaded picture. Thanks to Andi’s photo restoration trick, I was able to quickly slap on simple colours. Behold the glowiness!
An Art Trade by Tj-Caris, who chose to do my Campus Club characters: Gem, Effie, Kate and Alexis. Hence the title xD This is the first fanart of the four of them together, and TJ-Caris paid a lot of attention to getting their personalities spot on. And it’s coloured. And it’s a fun picture. I hope TJ enjoyed drawing it as much as I enjoy viewing it.
TJ-Caris drew a semi-realistic portrait of a character who turned out looking like Gem, so he drew another of Effie to match. I very much enjoy this style, and squeed when I saw this. Thanks TJ-Caris!
