UPDATE 18 Jul 08: Fixed a couple of technical issues with the pic.
Commissioned by Pumpmonger of his epic warrior character Red, rescuing an Atlantean princess Nami. This is a scene from one of Nick’s many adventures of the heroine.
Red’s name was given by the Norse who adopted her, for her fiery red hair. She bares her heart always, for a curse that was put on her. A defiance to conventional depictions of warrior heroes, Red is a memorable character whom I hope to draw more of.

Each day, at least one of you would knock me right off my feet by your generosity and creative ways of going about it. I’m really touched, I can’t seem to say enough. Like BK says, we look after our own, and I’m proud to be among such fine people.
Thank you everyone. I will be all right. A lot of things are happening right now (including -lots- of art!), and I can’t really grab hold of anything, but I just know that through it all, I will arrive at where I wish to be, because I have angels like you watching over me. Ok, ok, enough with the mushiness
