She’s alive and well. Very well, actually, although a little giddy. After getting into her financial fix, she’s been busy grilling God with questions, and the answers have been blowing her away. So she’s doing great, but haven’t quite gotten to the point of finding her pencil again yet. When the winds ease up a bit, she’ll be back with more news and art.
Hope you’re all rockin’ and rollin’ and getting up to some mischief.

I had been squealing like a mad mouse for several days. Each day, at least one of you would knock me right off my feet by your generosity and creative ways of going about it. I’m really touched, I can’t seem to say enough. Like BK says, we look after our own, and I’m proud to be among such fine people.
Thank you everyone. I will be all right. A lot of things are happening right now (including -lots- of art!), and I can’t really grab hold of anything, but I just know that through it all, I will arrive at where I wish to be, because I have angels like you watching over me. Ok, ok, enough with the mushiness

I have money troubles at the moment, and Higalack suggested that I share it here. I was reluctant at first, because I felt like I haven’t given anything. But he explained that I’ve been giving my art, and that there could be people wanting to support me.
So if you’d like to help,

Eurovision Song Contest is like a big party in Europe. There are all sorts of music and performances. I love it, because it’s 100% live, including the orchestra, so everyone gives it their all.
This year there were again lots of pretty boys and gals, some ballads, a few rock, some boppy tunes, and a singing turkey. While there’s always been some politics in the votings, there’s now an obvious skew towards the Soviet Republics, which is a shame, because I enjoy Eurovision for its melting pot of creativity. This year was Azerbaijan’s first entry, and I thought it could have one. It’s still crazy cool anyway. Click on “Watch in High Quality”, that’s even cooler!
Here’s some Eurovision nostalgia…

I’ve had to answer a few questions at dA such as why do we like muscular and amazonic women, so I wrote up a little article to invite thoughts from fellow fans as well as interested observers. The fully discussion is here.

I’m an avid fan (as a few found out first hand) of Eurovision, the song contest for Europe. It’s an annual gathering of culture and creativity, and there’s at least a few gems every year. This year almost turned out to be a farce, but Serbia with Molitva (Prayer) managed to salvage the contest’s credibility for another year.
Highlight:
“Voda (Water)” by Elitsa & Stoyan for Bulgaria: the energy of water, wild and powerful. I can’t really describe it, it’s simply a spiritual experience. And seeing them in an interview, they truly are divine people.
Honourable mentions:
“On Top of the World” by Edsilia for Netherlands: I have much respect for Netherlands, and Edsilia is such a lovely person. She also happens to have a physique close to what I like
“Let’s Save the World” by Anonymous for Andorra: Um… I just find it catchy!

In response to Titaneer’s thread asking “Why do women like FMG?“, I was reminded of Jessica Salmonson’s introduction to her book, The Encyclopedia of Amazons
. While it does not address FMG, it does share some insights to the appeal of strong women to women.
